Big Morgan CEO says he has respect for cryptocurrencies, in contrast to Little Morgan CEO

Morgan Stanley (MS.US) CEO Gorman said it has a respectful attitude toward cryptocurrencies. He said, "I don't think cryptocurrency is going to be a flash in the pan, it's not just going to disappear, and I don't know what value Bitcoin should reach. But these things don't finish, and the blockchain technology behind it that supports it is clearly very real and powerful."

Gorman's comments are in stark contrast to JPMorgan Chase (JPM.US) CEO Dimon. Dimon believes bitcoin is "worthless" and said a few days ago, "Regardless of what other people think, the government will regulate it, and that will be for anti-money laundering purposes, bank secrecy laws and tax purposes."
